About Heritech Consulting
Heritech Consulting is a technology, DNS and digital policy advisory firm helping businesses navigate the rapidly evolving Internet, regulatory and digital governance landscape across Nigeria, Africa and the global digital economy.
Founded in 2014 and formally registered in 2019, Heritech has evolved from a software development and technology services company into a specialized advisory firm operating at the intersection of technology, the Domain Name System (DNS), Internet governance, digital regulation and business strategy.
Heritech is a member of the ICANN Business Constituency (BC), participating alongside leading global companies including Google, Meta, Microsoft, NetChoice, Saudi Aramco, eBay, Verizon and many other businesses in shaping global Internet governance and policies affecting the DNS, domain names, registration data, cybersecurity, digital trust and the future of the Internet.
Our work also extends directly into the domain name industry. We provide strategic and technical consulting to organizations and applicants participating in ICANN’s New gTLD Program, helping businesses understand the policy, technical, operational and strategic requirements involved in entering and navigating the global domain name ecosystem. Heritech has also participated in the Next Round of New gTLDs, bringing practical African-market and domain industry perspectives to the development of the next generation of top-level domains.
Through our combination of technology expertise, DNS experience, ICANN policy participation and regulatory intelligence, we help organizations anticipate change, manage digital risks, navigate complex policy environments and turn emerging developments in Internet governance into strategic advantage.
